In order to fully understand ORDER operations, one must first understand the departments present in the organization. This will provide enough context for individuals to navigate the complexity of our operations.

Department List

Broadcasts

The Broadcasts department interfaces directly with stations and manages their broadcasts. They coordinate what materials are considered sanctioned media and assist in developing structured radio shows (for stations where this is relevant, especially college and [REDACTED] stations.)

Surveillance

The Surveillance department monitors station broadcasts as well as [REDACTED] to determine if dissident media broadcasts are occurring, and how they are affecting the community. They will forward all findings to the Investigations Department for further processing.

Investigations

The Investigations department handles reports of dissident media operations and determines the validity of said reports, providing actionable information for other departments (such as Enforcement) to act upon.

Signals

The Signals department is tasked with analyzing radio transmissions and audio broadcasts. Compared to other lab operations conducted by Investigations and other departments (which have more generalized capabilities; see [REDACTED] for full report on consolidation), their sole purpose is to determine the origination of certain radio broadcasts and potential effects (i.e. subliminal messaging). They both assist in finding dissident media broadcasts as well as assisting in supporting ORDER initiatives. (see file [REDACTED] for research into mass population influence)

Enforcement

Ultimately, once a dissident media operation has been identified and located, Enforcement is sent to terminate their broadcasts permanently. They often take a very heavy-handed approach, and as such should only be used once a definitive case has been developed by Investigations. (Involving Enforcement early is ill-advised; see files [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and [REDACTED] for excessive use of force investigations)
