I dug through WIIT’s records and found an individual named Dustin Thomas. He is listed as their technical director and host of the show Mini Margaritaville. After a lengthy “interview” following his Tuesday show, we have determined that Mr. Thomas is in fact not the leader of the dissident media group Dystopia of Distortion. I’ll have to look over the recordings and the polygraph reports to make certain that I didn’t miss something, but it is entirely possible that the dissidents are using Mr. Thomas’s name as a pseudonym, a red herring of sorts. We will need to be more careful about our information in the future.
For now, I will be observing their next broadcast, which they have proclaimed “Throwback Thwednesday”. Other than the failed gimmick of a name, the premise of this episode seems… intriguing. I’ve intercepted an early draft of their playlist for the night, and it goes against their principles of “new hard rock and metal”, as half of it isn’t even from this century. Perhaps they want to appeal to an older demographic, with what they call “dad rock”. Perhaps they seek to impersonate Diamonds and Rust, an Order-sanctioned show, in hopes that they fly under the radar. Either way, whoever is behind this revolution is clever. He has a plan and is always two steps ahead of ORDER. If we stay vigilant and gather more evidence, we can overtake him.
