This weekend has brought some concerning news to us. On October 4th at 4PM CT,
WIIT’s technical director, Mr. Dustin Thomas, received reports that the online
broadcast was non-functional again. Thinking it was a simple issue with IceCast
yet again, he went to restart the servers, a quick mission. However, the issue
was discovered to be an audio encoder that was rendered completely
non-functional. He has started the process of repairing the broken unit and
implemented a temporary broadcasting solution. The online stream was
unavailable for a period of roughly 28 hours. ORDER has intercepted the broken
encoder in an effort to determine if the station was deliberately sabotaged,
which the lab should report back on within a few days.

I find it hard to believe that the dissident group “Dystopia of Distortion”
would be behind this attack, since disabling the radio station would not allow
them to broadcast. The polygraphs did show some… slight discrepancies, the lab
would normally dismiss these as margin of error. The connections are there, if
Mr. Thomas is indeed the revolutionary, he would have access to the equipment,
and his replacement hardware could be used to better disrupt ORDER broadcasts.
The public was not made aware of ORDER’s investigation into this dissident
media group, but after the disruption this weekend I believe we have no choice.
ORDER must take the offensive. We must inform the public of this group, and we
must stop them… at all costs.
