Investigator’s Log: April 30th, 2025. After a year of investigation I have come to a conclusion that will probably not be received well by my superiors. I’ve tracked Dystopia of Distortion’s operations and public opinion of the broadcasts. Most listeners are unaware that it is dissident media, they mostly like it for the music. Additionally, many of the damages to WIIT’s equipment that Enforcement said was Dystopia’s doing were just the result of normal wear and tear. I have a ton of proof for that, but Enforcement wants to hide it to further their “dissident media” agenda.
Therefore, it is my professional opinion that Dystopia of Distortion is completely harmless to ORDER, and that all investigative work can be suspended. There are more important uses of our time, and fighting a dissident media broadcast that isn’t actually causing any harm isn’t one of them. In fact, I believe we should make an effort to make Dystopia a sanctioned broadcast! This kind of partnership could help gain the trust of our community further, and allows them to share their media. It’s a win-win. Therefore, this is my final recommendation, and I believe that Investigations Case 3073 should be closed with no recourse.
