Report on Signals tracing operation, beginning February 4th, 2025. In order to support Enforcement operations, we have attempted to infiltrate Dystopia of Distortion’s online infrastructure. Our first target was DystopiaNet, their online informational platform used for internal communications. Initial firewall penetration was considerably difficult, as they have some robust defenses, but we managed to find an ingress to their backend servers. Unfortunately, location tracing pointed back to northern Virginia, where a majority of the United States’ datacenters are located. Considering that the actual broadcasts are originating from Chicago, this information is not helpful for finding their operatives.

We did find that this server was connected to a virtual network, with multiple other devices present. We were not able to access those devices due to security protections on the server. It would seem they prepared for DystopiaNet to be a potential attack vector. We were able to identify that most other devices on the network were Linux systems, which limits our options for network compromise. For now, we will have to deploy Spider 12-Bravo in order to trace their other hosts. It has been known to cause intermittent hardware failures in previous testing, but a disruption to Dystopia of Distortion’s broadcasts may also be a valuable outcome. Further results will be provided at a later date.
